JET Australia Foudation - Adelaide Chapter Welcome you cordially to join 2026 Harevest Festival celebrations - Goda–Ranganatha Kalyānam is the sacred divine wedding of Sri Goda Devi (Āṇḍāḷ) and Sri Ranganatha Swami, traditionally celebrated during Dhanurmasam and aligned with the harvest festival of Sankranthi in the solar calendar. This auspicious occasion coincides with India’s thanksgiving to nature, celebrated through Pongal, the flying of kites, vibrant kolam(rangoli) at home entrances, the joyful sight of Gangireddhu processions, and festive Golu displays in households. Together, these traditions express gratitude for abundance, prosperity, and divine blessings.
The Kalyānam marks the union of pure devotion and divine grace, invoking blessings for families, communities, and the world. Devotees participate in the traditional Kalyāna rituals under priestly guidance, offering flowers and prayers while chanting auspicious mantras, seeking the grace of the divine couple.
This sacred celebration brings peace, prosperity, removal of obstacles, and spiritual upliftment, while also honoring the spirit of the harvest—gratitude to the earth, harmony with nature, and shared joy within the community—radiating positive vibrations for the welfare of society and universal harmony.
