JET Activities commenced in Melbourne early 2001 with a small group of JET volunteers supported by local residents and the Holy blessing if HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. During 2001, JET Melbourne organised “Sri Andal Ranganatha Thiru Kalyanam” (A Marriage Ceremony to Divine couple Deities). Over 400 devotees attended this ceremony, which was a huge success. This Initiative has been praised by every body for bringing VEDIC culture to Australia. Since then, JET Melbourne Chapter growing with the great support from Melbourne Residents.
JET Melbourne has been active in the community by promoting Vedic and Spiritual events at various suburbs throughout Melbourne. HH Chinna Jeeyar Swami visited Melbourne in 2003 on his first Australia and New Zealand Peace Tour. Since then, the Melbourne chapter has been conducting many Vedic, Spiritual, and Community services. The Melbourne Satsang has also been blessed with Swamiji’s subsequent visits in 2007 and 2009,2013, 2023.
Melbourne Chapter Activities
Organise Vedic and Spiritual Education Events
Runs Prajna centers around Melbourne and promotes Vedic Education to children through Prajna Classes.
Developing Satsang in local suburbs where people Chant Sanskrit Slokas, Gita and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama
Conducts Vedic Discourses, Yagas (Fire sacrifices), spiritual events to promote unity and peace among communities.
Collaborate with Local Australian communities and involve in Cancer Awareness Programs thru VTSEVA
Collaborate with Local Australian organisations and participate in Environment Protection Campaigns.
Collaborate with Local Australian organisations and support blind Educational programs.
Support the local community during calamities like Bush fires, COVID-19 by providing free food
