Mahila Arogya Vikas (MAV) is a noble initiative to raise awareness for regular screening of infections and cancer of the breast and cervix.

Beginning in 2007, MAV has improved the screening process multi-fold through workflows tailored to local communities. Recognizing the quality of service and impact, the Telangana State Government approached MAV in 2019 to collaborate and increase its reach across many states.
As of today, hundreds of volunteers have worked tirelessly to serve more than 1.1 million women in over 1000 camps across Indian states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, and across Nepal. Each camp involves educating and screening 150 to 200 women. Medicines and treatment are provided for free if abnormalities are detected.
